The Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valve is built for pipeline applications where higher temperatures, frequent operation, and demanding service conditions require dependable shut-off and reduced seat wear. Its triple offset design helps limit friction between the disc and seat, contributing to longer sealing life and more stable performance in service.
Available in sizes from 2" to 72" and pressure ratings from Class 150 to Class 900, the valve can be supplied in high temperature steel, stainless steel, duplex steel, and other selected materials. Stem options including XM-19, duplex steel, and Inconel X-750 are used where extra strength and corrosion resistance are needed.
Flanged, wafer, and lug ends are available for different piping arrangements, with lever, worm gear, electric, and pneumatic operation options to match system requirements. The Stellite seat and flexible graphite packing make the valve suitable for temperatures up to 800℃.
It is commonly applied in petroleum plants, chemical systems, metallurgical lines, hydropower facilities, and other industrial services that require reliable sealing and durable valve construction.
Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valve Key Features
Low-friction sealing movement
The triple eccentric design changes the contact pattern between disc and seat, reducing unnecessary friction during operation and helping extend the service life of sealing components.
Suitable for high temperature service
With Stellite seat construction and flexible graphite packing, the valve is designed for elevated temperature applications up to 800℃, depending on service conditions and material selection.
Material options for corrosive and high-temperature service
A range of body and trim materials is available to match corrosive media, elevated temperatures, and demanding operating conditions.
Flexible installation and actuation arrangements
The valve can be supplied with flanged, wafer, or lug ends, together with lever, worm gear, electric, or pneumatic operation to suit different pipeline and control setups.
Proven in industrial service
Typical applications include petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, hydropower, and other sectors where dependable valve performance is critical.
